The Accounting Supervisor ensures that all financial and accounting operations within the accounting department run smoothly. They oversee the work of junior accounting staff, review financial statements to ensure accuracy, and reconcile general ledger accounts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Assist staff members in the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounting reports.
  • Identify potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities.
  • Supervise and provide overall guidance to accounting associates.
  • Ensure that the company maintains compliance with accounting principles.
  • Adjusts and corrects daily journal entries
  • Checks lapsing for depreciation of property, plant and equipment (PPE)
  • Assists in the preparation and analysis of financial reports for management and stockholders.
  • Conducts surprise cash count of treasury in-charge and cashier.
