Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced AI Pod Engineer to join our high-performing development team at Adaca. This role combines full-stack engineering expertise with a strong understanding of AI integration and scalable application design. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience building and deploying modern web applications using React, , and TypeScript, while leveraging AI models and APIs to enhance application functionality.

You will collaborate with product teams, designers, and AI engineers to deliver high-quality, modular, and performance-optimised solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), API design, and agile development methodologies, along with a proactive approach to innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered web applications using React (frontend) and (backend).
  • Integrate AI models and APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, etc.) into production systems.
  • Use AI-driven IDEs (e.g., Cursor, Visual Studio with AI extensions, or other AI-assisted development environments) to improve development efficiency and code quality.
  • Build scalable RESTful APIs and modular microservices to support complex application requirements.
  • Collaborate with AI, DevOps, and product teams to integrate and optimise AI-driven features.
  • Ensure best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability across the stack.
  • Deploy and maintain applications using AWS or Azure, including CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and monitoring tools.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of team workflows.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and AI trends to drive innovation in Adaca's AI projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of professional full-stack development experience with strong proficiency in:
  • ReactJS (frontend frameworks, state management, UI optimisation)
  • , TypeScript, and Express/NestJS (backend and API development)
  • Proficiency with AI-enabled IDEs such as Cursor, Visual Studio, or other AI-driven coding tools.
  • Strong understanding of cloud services (AWS/Azure) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proven track record building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
  • Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
  • Solid grasp of software architecture principles, modularisation, and system optimisation.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress) and Git-based version control.
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php130,000.00 per month
