Senior / Intermediate CAD Designer

About this role:We are looking for a Senior CAD Designer to join our Manila office. Less experienced candidates will be considered for an intermediate position. This role is based in BGC, Taguig, Philippines.

Our office is conveniently located in the CBD area and is easily accessible by public transportation. You will find yourself in a multi-cultural and diverse environment. Key Responsibilities:Prepare and provide a full set of drawing documentation using AutoCAD software.

Manage and produce drawing packages with discipline and accountability. Coordinate with seniors regularly and maintain communication with team members locally and internationally. Be resourceful and vigilant in taking actions regarding design issues to avoid setbacks on deliverables.

Collaborate and work effectively with co-workers, departments, and teams. Resolve issues utilizing sound judgment and reasoning skills. Maintain strong working knowledge of interior design, technical details, and FF&E.Review and comprehend drawings to ensure that the produced packages meet the approved design.

Yield and maintain top-notch documentation packages as per the Company's Standard. Conceptualize and develop interior design concepts that align with the client's vision and project goals. Develop mood boards, sketches, and design proposals to effectively convey your ideas.

Collaborate with the design team to bring concepts to life through detailed design development and space planning. Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and ensuring that design solutions meet and exceed their expectations. Source and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design concept and budget.

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent. Minimum 5-8 years of relevant working experience. Experience in design consultancy focusing on high-end projects; experience in hospitality and gaming (Casino) projects will be an advantage.

Good understanding of design intent, sketches, and ability to turn design images into 2D CAD drawings. Proficiency in producing full sets of tender, construction, and technical drawings with minimal supervision. Well-versed in using AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and SketchUp.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong comprehension of hospitality design and technical details. Effective communication with design leads, team members, and consultants through phone calls, emails, and other online communication applications.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Leadership and project management skills (optional). To be successful in the role, you should also have:Strong conceptualization and presentation skills.

Ability to draw details accurately with precision. Excellent time management, planning, and project execution skills. Strong sense of design flair and love of art.

Strong sense of responsibility. Strong organizational skills and ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of hospitality design projects. Collaborative mindset and enjoyment of working in team environments. Good communication skills.
