Senior Aircraft Interior Design Engineer

This is a key role within our team that requires the ideal candidate to design, develop and integrate interior payload system requirements. The Senior Aircraft Interior Design Engineer will be responsible for creating innovative solutions that meet customer requirements while ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing engineering design solutions using CAD software for modifications to aircraft cabin systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to organize and control working teams.
  • Liaising with DO/Project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget design solutions.
  • Producing and supporting documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in aircraft interiors mechanical/structural design engineering.
  • Current or recent employment within the aerospace industry specifically working with an EASA Part 21J Design Organization (or equivalent).
