Project Design Officer

We are looking for a skilled Project Design Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of projects, working on store openings, renovations and expansions among others.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing design concepts, coordinating with multiple stakeholders and partners to ensure smooth operations.

This role is ideal for someone who loves seeing project concepts come to life, managing challenges in project management and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify project needs and create feasibility reports and design proposals.
  • Produce CAD drawings and renderings, as well as color boards, to develop specific and precise designs.
  • Manage projects by executing approved designs and guide partner contractors on adherence.
  • Gather necessary measurements, dimensions and other routine calculations for design layouts.
  • Use CAD software and manual drawing techniques to produce architectural plans for management approval.
  • Ensure all measurements and calculations are correct and gather necessary information to perform dimensional and routine calculations for drawings and design layouts.
  • Record and maintain vital information and documentation.
  • Specify important details for projects such as cost estimates, materials and assumed construction duration.
  • Ensure that all layouts and blueprints meet required codes and legal standards.
  • Conduct site visits to check on project status and execute necessary adjustments.
  • Deliver complete project requirements on time to meet project deadlines.
  • Create progress reports and regularly provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Conduct punch listing for proper turnover together with project partners.
  • Prepare requisitions of necessary items, request for payment and work completion report and endorse to Project Head.
  • Regularly coordinate with Contractors, Project Management Head and Support & Operations Team.
  • Prepare necessary permits and plans needed.
  • Coordinate with point persons on environmental permit requirements and WWTP plans.
  • Liaise with local government agencies to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other miscellaneous tasks assigned by the immediate head.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Must be a Licensed Architect.
  • With at least 5-7 years of experience in Retail/Residential/Commercial Design up to Construction Management.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion/V-Ray or similar, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Proficient with MS Office and Instant Messaging applications.
  • Willing to travel to different locations for site visits and inspections.
  • Can start ASAP.
