Job Purpose:Procurement Manager shall be responsible for overseeing and managing the assigned supply chain management of the company. Shall work to maximize the process efficiency and productivity. He/She shall play a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with end-users and suppliers.

Qualifications:College graduate in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or FinanceMust have a minimum of ten (10) years of working experience as a Procurement Manager, Supply Chain Supervisor, or Head. Must have a background in the COAL supply chainMust be knowledgeable in SCM areas such as: Materials Planning, Materials Receiving and Issuance, Warehousing and Storage, Transportation, Fleet Maintenance. Hands-on experience with supply chain management software (such as SAP or Maximo)Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's successDuties and Responsibilities:Formulates and implements guidelines, targets, and operating procedures for the procurement group.

Monitors actual performance of procurement versus standards, and takes corrective actions to address the deviations. Ensures that purchase requisitions are processed following lead times; reviews status of purchase orders versus delivery dates. Reviews and analyses procurement costs and develops strategies to achieve lower costs and improve service levels.

Identifies strength and areas for improvement of all buyers, and develops and implements training programs to increase their levels of competence. Looksfor local suppliers that canprovide products and services andevaluates their capability tomeet the specified quality at a better price. Initiates plans and programs to strengthen partnership with suppliers.
