Key responsibilities

  • Team management:

Hire, train, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff and contractors.
- Maintenance and repairs:

Coordinate and oversee maintenance, repairs, and installations for all building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
- Inspections:

Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Safety and compliance:

Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes, including OSHA standards.
- Budgeting and inventory:

Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and oversee the inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Record keeping:

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders and repairs.
- Preventative maintenance:

Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Problem-solving:

Respond to emergency maintenance requests and act as a point of contact for tenants or other departments.
