IT Support Senior Specialist

Qualifications:

1. This role requires the ability to handle various problems with expertise and exceptional judgment while working with end-users at the highest level within organizations
2. We are looking for professionals who are able to multitask and quickly adapt to client needs while utilizing active thinking and problem-solving to ensure the highest levels of client satisfaction
3. 5+ years of recent end-user technical support experience, including providing support to executive-level users
4. Installation and troubleshooting of hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, disk drives, network servers, routers, and firewalls
5. Ability to diagnose basic IT and computer systems issues; hardware, software, networking, server, VPN and operator problems
6. Resolve and provides updates, status, and completion information in a professional manner
7. Troubleshoot & research business application, PC, server and network hardware errors
8. Install, remove, test and configure PC operating systems, software and hardware

9. Extensive macOS and Windows Desktop experience and all Microsoft Server Software (Server , Exchange, SQL Server)

10. Windows XP, Vista, 7, 10, 11

11. Cloud Technologies (Google Apps, Office365, Box, etc.)

12. Mobile Technologies (Android, Apple iOS)

13. Experience with Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365

14. Experience implementing and supporting networks including switches, firewalls and a good knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS

15. Experience with cybersecurity tools and best practices, including next-generation antivirus, endpoint protection, DLP solutions, and disk encryption, SSO and MFA

Must be familiar with the following technologies:

• TCP/IP network troubleshooting
• Routers and Firewalls (Cisco, Linksys, Netgear, DD-WRT, Merlin, etc.)
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Various Anti-Malware software
• Various Backup Software
• Various Anti-SPAM products
• Ethernet Network Cabling
• VPN remote access configuration & troubleshooting
• Network printer troubleshooting
• Active Directory Administration

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure
• Ability to be on-site at clients as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, executive-level user support to our financial services clients on-site and remotely
• Build and maintain trust and rapport with clients
• Drive the adoption of leading-edge cloud technologies
• Monitor and support modern cloud systems and infrastructure such as
• Microsoft Office 365, Azure, and Cisco Meraki
• Design, implement, document and maintain clients' infrastructure, applications, and system management tools
• Assist with maintaining clients' cybersecurity, cloud, and high availability strategies
• Translate complex technical solutions to end-users and decision-makers
• Document assets, configurations, passwords, processes, etc and maintain current and accurate documentation
• Collaborate with other team members to find the best solutions for our clients
• Willingness to help other team members
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

Requirements and Certifications
