Job Summary:

Mang Harrison is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Chef who specializes in Filipino cuisine to lead our kitchen operations. The Head Chef will oversee all aspects of food preparation, menu planning, kitchen management, and team supervision. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of Filipino dishes, ingredients, and traditional cooking methods, combined with creativity and a commitment to maintaining food quality, flavor, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service.
  • Plan, prepare, and cook authentic Filipino dishes that meet the company's quality and presentation standards.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation at all times.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, monitor food costs, and ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
  • Train, guide, and motivate kitchen staff to perform effectively and uphold company values.
  • Collaborate with management in developing new menu items, seasonal offerings, and promotional dishes.
  • Ensure portion control, consistency in flavor, and adherence to standard recipes.
  • Supervise food plating and presentation to align with Mang Harrison's brand image.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing team to maintain adequate supplies and reduce waste.
  • Maintain a positive and professional kitchen environment focused on teamwork and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or any related field (preferred).
  • With 1–2 years of experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for Filipino cuisine, ingredients, and cooking traditions.
  • Excellent leadership, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food costing, and safety regulations.
  • Creative, reliable, and detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and consistency.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and manage time effectively.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
