Structural Draftsperson

Set-up and Location: Work From Home  Ortigas
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Sydney), 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM (PH)

We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Draftsperson to join our Australian engineering consultancy client. You'll be responsible for producing precise structural and stormwater drawings, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring all documentation aligns with Australian Standards.

Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in structural and stormwater drafting using AutoCAD
  
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards: AS3600, AS1170, AS3700, AS5131
  
• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with engineers and stakeholders
  
• Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines in a remote setup
  

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural and stormwater drawings using AutoCAD
  
• Collaborate with engineers to interpret design concepts and markups
  
• Ensure drawings meet project specifications and comply with Australian Standards
  
• Manage revisions and maintain drawing accuracy throughout the project lifecycle
  
• Contribute to team goals and participate in design reviews
  

Technical Responsibilities

• Apply Australian Standards to all drafting outputs
  
• Maintain drawing documentation and version control
  
• Support drawing coordination across disciplines and project phases
  
• Assist in quality assurance and compliance checks
  

RequirementsSkills & Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD with a strong drafting portfolio
  
• Familiarity with structural systems and stormwater layouts
  
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  
• Effective communicator and team collaborator
  
• Experience with Australian residential and commercial projects preferred
