Responsibilities

  • Manage smooth day to day operations, including in-bound and out-bound processes, from receipt, storage, retrieval to timely dispatch of goods of assigned accounts
  • Ensure customer service level agreement is fulfilled and manage incidents that require service recovery
  • Manage daily program costs in accordance to program budget
  • Manage resource deployment and ensure additional services are charged back to client and minimize revenue leakages
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at all level of operations and clients concerns are proactively addressed
  • Implement best practices for inventory control, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Ensure that financial management, billing, and invoicing are carried out in a timely manner
  • Monitor and manage operational expenses, labour costs, and resource allocation to meet budgetary targets
  • Develop and implement productivity enhancements for CL Operations
  • Actively engages in WMS digitalization initiatives throughout the network
  • Support corporate initiative for Supply Chain Solution
  • Participate in tender bids, renewal negotiations and execute new project implementation to ensure a smooth onboarding process, and collaborating closely with clients to understand their specific logistics needs
  • Monitor KPIs and ensure timely generation of program management reports for management review
  • Prepare QBR and manage service review meetings
  • Ensure company policies & procedures, confidentiality, safety compliance, legal and ethical guidelines, such as Delegation of Authority are clearly communicated and adhered to
  • Coach and guide junior team members to ensure development and succession planning
  • Observe and abide by the TSS-QIMM-01.6 Roles, Responsibilities and Authorities outline in the QIM Manual

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • years' experience in Contract Logistics Industry
  • Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a 3PL environment handling multiple clients
  • Good working relationships with customers, vendors & agents
  • Strong knowledge of Pricing for Contract Logistics and other Supply Chain Solutions
  • Facility management and HSE will be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Dangerous Goods Management and relevant licenses for handling and storage of different goods
  • Working knowledge of Financial Reporting
  • Strong Customer Management
  • Good Business Negotiation
  • Good knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, local customs & trade portals
