Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Pharma or Chemist to join our Quality Assurance and Control team. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes and products. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in pharmaceutical or chemical sciences and experience in quality control and assurance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and implement quality assurance protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality control processes and compile reports for management review.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and advancements in quality assurance methods.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of internal and external audits.
  • Support the development and enhancement of quality systems and processes to improve overall efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field (mandatory).
  • Valid license as a registered pharmacist or chemist, chem technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance/control within the pharmaceutical, chemical, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical manufacturing (e.g., FDA, GMP, ISO).
  • Proficient in quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., CAPA, Lean, Six Sigma is a plus).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
