AU Tax Accountant | Day Shift | Permanent Work-from-Home

Are you an experienced accountant with 2+ years of hands-on experience in preparing Australian financial statements and tax returns?

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AU Tax Accountant who's ready to make a meaningful impact and grow with our team. If you're passionate about delivering quality work and value flexibility in a permanent work-from-home setup, we want to hear from you

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Preparation of Business Activity Statements (monthly or quarterly)

· Preparation of Financial Statement, Income Tax Returns, and Activity Statements for a range of clients, ranging from Individuals, Trusts, Companies, etc

· Payroll processing for clients on a weekly basis

· Computation of Capital Gains Tax

· Assist with client's queries/outstanding information (either via phone call or email)

· Assist with the ATO client correspondence and queries.

· Work alongside a Partner, Manager and work with clients from start to finish, liaising with them on a regular basis

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree in accountancy

· 2 years or more of experience in AU accounting and taxation

· Work Ethics

· Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, standards and professional guidelines

· Great with systems and a proven track record in developing and improving reporting outcomes

· Great attention to details

· An ability to prioritize work effectively

· Ability to work in fast-paced environment and can cope with the demands

· Excellent written and verbal English communication and interpersonal skills

· Highest standard of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism
