General Required Technical Skills

Experience leading small to medium-sized technical teams (allocation, mentoring, escalation, Agile ceremonies)

Expert in logical and physical data modeling for cloud/hybrid data warehouse environments

Strong experience designing architectures for structured, semi-structured & unstructured data

Multiple full lifecycle data warehouse implementations

Deep understanding of ETL/ELT and data integration pipelines

Experience with ER/Studio, ER/Win, or similar modeling tools

Solid background in Azure Data Platform:


• Azure Data Lake Store


• Azure Storage


• Azure Synapse


• Azure Data Factory


• Azure SQL


• Logic Apps


• APIs

Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly

Strong data profiling and source-to-target mapping experience

Ability to provision and configure Azure data services

Detailed Required Skills

Python & SQL scripting

SQL & PySpark for big data processing

Cloud architecture expertise—capable of building end-to-end data pipelines

Strong API knowledge (bonus: API development experience)

Preferred Skills & Certifications

Microsoft Fabric

Azure Cosmos DB, Data Flows, Express Route, Azure AD

On-prem to Azure migration strategy experience

Power BI + semantic modeling

AWS + Azure Multi-Cloud Experience:
