About the role

Jiaxing International Trading and Real Estate Corporation is seeking a skilled and experienced General Accountant to join our team. As a full-time role based in ASEANA Paranaque City Metro Manila, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance and strategic financial decision-making.

What you'll be doing

  • Bookkeeping

  • Bank Reconciliation

  • Payroll

  • Billing and Collection

  • Assist the external auditor for Annual FS Audit

  • Coordinates with BIR in reconciiation during Tax Audit

  • Compute, file and pay Tax Returns

  • LGU Compliance

  • SEC Compliance

  • Record Keeping

  • Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc projects and analysis as required

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar general accounting role, preferably in the real estate or trading industry

  • Proven experience in financial reporting, general ledger management and account reconciliation

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and best practices
