Accountant/Bookkeeper (Entry Level)

WHAT DO WE SEEK:

We are looking for an Entry-Level Bookkeeper with keen attention to detail and a solid grasp of financial management. No matter your location across the U.S., this national role is your chance to take the reins of our financial management, ensuring the accuracy of our books and generating key financial insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Below are some of the responsibilities a bookkeeper is expected to assume in their position:

  • Maintain accurate accounting records by compiling, verifying, and analyzing account information.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial data by reconciling bank statements and other financial records.
  • Record financial transactions in account ledgers and prepare periodic financial statements.
  • Analyze financial data, tracking trends to forecast future business requirements and opportunities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information.

Below are the qualifications expected of a bookkeeper:

  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and finance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, MS Office, and Google Workspace. Advanced MS Excel and Google Sheets are preferred.
  • At least 1 year of QuickBooks experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Proactive mindset and capable of taking initiative.

A PLUS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Previous experience in the SaaS, POS, restaurant, hospitality, or food service industry.
  • Startup experience and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Experience with remote or virtual team collaboration.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Full/Part-time, remote, or work from office depending on location.

Compensation: PHP 18,000-22,000 monthly.
