1.0 DUTIES:
1.1 Regular Duties:
1.1.1 Cleans all equipment and surfaces in the kitchen and catering areas.
1.1.2 Stores clean china, glassware, silver and utensils tidily and in correct place/ racks.
1.1.3 Ensures that the kitchens have sufficient supply of equipment during service times.
1.1.4 Ensures that the correct and sufficient cleaning equipment and materials are used at all times.
1.1.5 Cleans all areas tidily at all times.
1.1.6 Supplies equipment requirement for outlets correctly and promptly.
1.2 Performs other duties as may be assigned by the immediate superior. (Does not apply to top management.)
2.0 QUALIFICATIONS:
2.1 Education
2.1.1 High School graduated, preferable 2-year vocational course or college graduate with Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Restaurant & Institution Management.
2.2 Work Experience/s:
2.2.1 At least 6 months training accomplished under the supervision of the Steward Supervisor working experience in a five-star hotel particularly in the kitchen operations.
2.3 Special Qualities/ Skills Required:
2.3.1 Has good attitude and hardworking.
2.3.2 Good oral / written communication skills.
2.3.3 Knowledgeable on cleaning materials for kitchen utensils and equipment.
2.3.4 Can work under pressure.
