About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Technician to join our team at Furukawa Automotive Systems Lima Philippines, Inc in Lipa City, Batangas. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of our critical manufacturing equipment, ensuring uninterrupted production and optimal performance.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment

  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions and breakdowns

  • Collaborate with the production team to minimize equipment downtime

  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment optimization

  • Participate in equipment upgrades and installations

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an equipment technician in a manufacturing environment

  • Technical diploma or certification in industrial maintenance or a related field

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

  • Good communication and documentation skills
