Job Summary:

We are looking for a Project Estimator with strong experience in hydraulics, plumbing, stormwater, and drainage works to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil and infrastructure projects. The role involves reviewing drawings and specifications, performing quantity take-offs, pricing materials and labor, and supporting tender and proposal submissions, particularly for Australian-based projects.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Review civil, hydraulic, and plumbing drawings, specifications, and scope of works

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for:

  • Stormwater systems

  • Drainage works
  • Sewer and sanitary systems
  • Water supply / plumbing systems
  • Develop cost estimates, BOQs, and pricing summaries for tenders and variations
  • Analyze plans to identify risks, exclusions, and opportunities for value engineering
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and sales teams regarding scope, pricing, and clarifications
  • Prepare and submit tender documents using estimating platforms (e.g. PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Excel, EstimateOne)
  • Assist in reviewing contractor or supplier quotations
  • Ensure estimates comply with project requirements and relevant standards (AU standards is a plus)
  • Support post-tender clarifications and revisions as required

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum 2–3 years experience in project estimation related to:

  • Hydraulics

  • Plumbing / wet services
  • Stormwater & drainage
  • Proven experience in quantity surveying / estimating for civil or infrastructure projects
  • Experience working with Australian clients or projects is a strong advantage

Required Skills & Tools:
  • Proficient in PlanSwift, Bluebeam Revu, MS Excel
  • Ability to interpret hydraulic, plumbing, and civil drawings
  • Knowledge of stormwater systems, drainage layouts, and plumbing components
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

( Required):
  • Experience with Australian Standards (AS/NZS)

Work Setup:
  • Remote / Work-from-home
