We are looking for a Cost Estimator who will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of project costings, supporting management in pricing strategies, and contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed estimates for steel fabrication projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other cost factors.
  • Analyze project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
  • Coordinate with the engineering, purchasing, and production teams to validate costing data and ensure accuracy.
  • Review supplier and subcontractor quotations and incorporate them into cost analyses.
  • Prepare bid proposals and cost breakdowns for management review and client submission.
  • Maintain an updated database of material and labor costs for reference in future estimates.
  • Assist in project budgeting, monitoring actual costs versus estimates, and recommending cost-saving measures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or any related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in cost estimation or quantity surveying (preferably in steel fabrication, construction, or manufacturing industry).
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other estimation or project management software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
