Admin Intern

As an Administrative Intern, you'll support smooth office operations by managing supplies, records, and basic financial tasks with accuracy and efficiency. From assisting with bookkeeping and procurement events to maintaining organised records, you'll gain hands-on experience while working closely with the administrative team, building your skills, initiative, and confidence in a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory and Supply Management
- Conduct regular checks of office supplies and equipment, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to order and receive office materials efficiently.
- Track and manage petty cash, preparing clear monthly summaries for review.
Administrative Support
- Assist in filing, organising, and maintaining important company documents and records.
- Support bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and account reconciliation.
- Prepare and maintain accurate digital and physical records for team use and reporting.
Event and Procurement Coordination
- Help organise and plan monthly procurement events, coordinating with suppliers and preparing purchase orders.
- Monitor timelines and deliverables to ensure smooth execution of events and supply requests.
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues proactively and maintain seamless operations.
Process Improvement and Collaboration
- Contribute ideas to streamline administrative workflows and enhance office efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of accuracy, organisation, and communication.
Skills and Attributes
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills, capable of prioritising multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident and professional communicator, able to liaise effectively with team members and suppliers.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and eager to learn from hands-on experience.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and other digital tools.
Experience and Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Previous administrative, office, or coordination experience is an advantage but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and work independently while contributing to a team.
