Position: Life Insurance Sales Consultant (Remote - AU Market)

Work Type: Full-time, Remote (servicing Australian clients)

We are growing our life insurance advice team and looking for enthusiastic Sales Consultants to support our advisers. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills who enjoys building relationships, understanding client needs, and helping families secure their financial future.

Key Responsibilities

Client engagement & advice:

  • Respond to phone & online enquiries from customers or leads.
  • Conduct consultative conversations to understand clients' protection needs (Life, TPD, Trauma, Income Protection).
  • Explain the cover, premium structure, and other options clearly to clients.

Quoting & Applications:

  • Prepare quotes and forms.
  • Assist clients with the application process, personal statement, underwriting, and documentation.
  • Track leads, follow up on quotes, and ensure the application is settled.

Sales / Targets / KPIs

  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets
  • Drive sales growth, campaign performance.

Customer service & relationship building

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Help clients through renewals, and follow-ups.

Compliance & admin

  • Ensure all documentation is correct and complies with regulations
  • Maintain accurate records in systems
  • Keep up to date with insurance market and insurers' notifications
About You

Proven Sales Experience and Customer/Client Focus (English-speaking clients)

  • Fluent in English (Advanced level in Speaking, Reading, Writing, Listening)
  • Experience in outbound or inbound sales, preferably in insurance, financial services, or contact centres. Target-driven and able to meet or exceed KPIs.
  • Able to build rapport, explain insurance products simply, handle objections, negotiate, and maintain good client relationships.

Attention to Detail, Adaptable and Compliance

  • Accurate record-keeping, documentation, compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical behavior.
  • Comfort with digital tools, Ability to learn quickly; working in fast-paced
  • Ability to manage multiple client interactions in a professional manner

Self-Motivation / Results Orientation

  • Proactive, driven, resilient under pressure, able to work autonomously, but also within a team sometimes.
  • Willingness to make follow-ups, persistently pursue leads, handle rejection, maintain energy and consistency.
  • You don't just do the work, you make sure it achieves measurable outcomes via settled deals.

  • Regular work hours. (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Sydney time (includes 1-hour lunch break + 15-minute breaks in the morning and afternoon)
