Job Purpose:

  1. Initiates and drives strategic ICT activities across the critical elements of IT (Infrastructure, Enterprise and Business Intelligence):

Digital Transformation Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Roadmap

  2. Designs, integrates and implements a comprehensive strategy to embed analytics, digital capabilities and emerging technologies across all departments and companies for digital transformation.

  3. Strategic Orchestration

  4. Orchestrates the right conversations and bridges relevant leaders and teams to land the decisions needed to move our strategic objectives.

IT Operations Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Roadmap

  2. Develops the IT vision, strategy and a roadmap and leads the IT team and its business partners in effective execution.

  3. Directs the design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of the computing infrastructure that supports the company's operations and business applications.
  4. Leads the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
  5. Prepares and monitors IT operational budgets that meet prevailing objectives and constraints.

  6. Strategic Operations

  7. Ensures that current and planned technical architecture, investments and solutions are aligned with company business objectives.

  8. Ensures that the organization has strong systems analysis and project management skills, and the ability to execute business-critical projects on time and on budget.
  9. Establishes a comprehensive enterprise cybersecurity program to ensure the security, integrity, confidentiality, availability of company data.
  10. Implements the most appropriate and effective IT organizational design to support and engage with the business.
  11. Establishes metrics for managing IT effectiveness and for measuring the impact of IT on the business including the appropriate KPIs that direct high availability operations.
  12. Maintains oversight of all IT projects, ensuring that commitments are properly planned, staffed, monitored and reported.
  13. Reviews, recommends and oversees all vendors and managed service agreements for IT computing, communications, services and equipment.

  14. Strategic Governance

  15. Builds strong relationships with business groups and their leaders across the enterprise and develops a detailed understanding of their issues, challenges and opportunities.

  16. Fosters a culture of innovation, transparency and accountability in IT.
  17. Establishes and enforces IT policies, processes, portfolio management, development standards and methodologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Background in consulting, technology and sales.
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA from a leading institution.
  • Experience in building systems (people, process, programs, tools and methods) and running IT operations.
  • Experience in building, leading, selling, and delivering large-scale transformation programs that integrate technology, business strategy, data, and emerging technologies.
  • Proven success in managing cross-functional IT and non-IT teams and driving change in complex environments.
  • Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successfully engaging clients and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Global perspective and understanding of the digital business marketplace.
  • Project Management Skills.
