Role Summary

The Junior Tech/Motion Designer supports the creation and adaptation of motion-based visual assets for shortform digital ads and social media campaigns. The role focuses on template-driven animation work for performance marketing content, AI-assisted media generation, and production support activities such as rendering and initial quality checks. Working under the guidance of senior creatives, the Junior Tech/Motion Designer will help ensure timely delivery of accurate and brand-consistent motion outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Adapt and produce motion assets using existing templates, brand guidelines, and animation systems.
• Generate AI-assisted images and video elements (e.g., via Freepik and similar platforms) for use in motion content.
• Assist in rigging and modifying templates to expand usability and streamline production.
• Manage basic rendering tasks including job scheduling, export settings, file organization, and delivery.
• Perform first-level quality reviews for timing, transitions, typography, graphics integrity, and asset completeness before internal review.
• Support proper version control, file naming conventions, and maintenance of asset libraries and project folders.
• Learn and stay updated on new AI creative tools, motion techniques, and production workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts, Animation, Graphic Design, or related field; equivalent practical experience is acceptable.
• 0–2 years of professional or internship experience in motion design, animation, or creative production.
• Basic proficiency in Adobe After Effects (required), Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Willing to understand After Effects expressions or Javascript.
• Willing to be trained on AI tools and After Effects expressions if necessary.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted image/video generation tools (e.g., Freepik, Adobe Firefly, RunwayML, Kaiber) is a plus.
• Understanding of basic animation principles, typography, composition, design elements, and visual storytelling.
• Google Sheets experience.
• Understanding on how to apply AI-powered design for the benefit of Digital Marketing. You can create visual stunning images/videos, but can you make them work in an ad?

Preferred Skills

• Interest in template rigging for scalable motion adaptation.
• Basic understanding of rendering formats, compression, export settings, and media delivery standards.
• Strong organizational habits in file and version management.
• Willingness to take direction, ask questions, and iterate based on feedback.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to visual accuracy.
• It's a big plus if you can share a portfolio of ad design and/or AI-powered design in images/videos

Performance Indicators

• Accuracy and consistency of motion outputs versus templates and brand guidelines.
• On-time execution of assigned motion tasks and renders.
• Proper application of file naming and library organization standards.
• Effective and responsible use of AI tools to support motion production tasks.
