We are looking for a vigilant and dedicated Company Nurse to serve as the frontline of our workforce's health and safety. In our high-stakes environment—spanning drilling rigs, fabrication shops, and construction sites—you will go beyond the clinic to identify hazards, lead emergency responses, and ensure our most valuable asset—our people—remain fit-for-duty.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical & Emergency Response

  • Immediate Care: Act as the primary responder for site-related injuries (trauma, chemical exposure, or heat stress) and provide Basic/Advanced Life Support until medical evacuation if necessary.
  • Case Management: Administer first aid, manage minor illnesses, and coordinate with hospital partners for worker referrals and follow-ups.
  • Inventory Control: Manage the site clinic's medical supplies, ensuring all life-saving equipment and medicines are stocked and unexpired.

2. Occupational Health & Safety (OHS)

  • Site Surveillance: Conduct regular "walk-through" inspections of fabrication shops and project sites to monitor ergonomic hazards, noise levels, and PPE compliance.
  • Health Programs: Lead wellness initiatives including BP monitoring, drug-free workplace orientations, and infectious disease prevention (e.g., COVID-19/Flu protocols).
  • Fitness-for-Duty: Evaluate workers' physical readiness for high-risk tasks, such as working at heights, confined space entry, or heavy machinery operation.

3. Compliance & Administration

  • Regulatory Reporting: Maintain meticulous medical records and prepare mandatory health reports for government bodies (e.g., DOLE-BWC/OSHA).
  • Exam Coordination: Facilitate and track Annual Physical Examinations (APE) and Pre-employment Medical Exams (PEME).
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • License: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active professional license.

  • Certifications (Required):

  • BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) for Nurses.

  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and First Aid certification.
  • Certifications (Preferred): ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and OHNAP membership.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of nursing experience. Background in ER, ICU, or industrial/construction settings is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word) for health data reporting.
  • Disposition: Ability to remain calm under pressure and communicate effectively with both site engineers and laborers.
