Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Head of Installation & Instrumentation to lead our installation division and oversee instrumentation, testing, and commissioning activities across multiple project sites. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of engineering experience in solar or electrical systems and proven supervisory ability in managing field teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all installation activities for industrial and residential solar projects.
  • Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation such as sensors, meters, data loggers, monitoring equipment, and protection devices.
  • Conduct actual onsite inspections, if necessary, verify installation layouts, and ensure compliance with engineering designs and Philippine electrical codes.
  • Manage a team of technicians, installers, and site engineers, ensuring optimal productivity and performance.
  • Perform system testing, commissioning, and QA/QC checks (I-V curve tracing, continuity testing, insulation resistance, system performance verification).
  • Troubleshoot technical issues on site and provide engineering solutions in real time.
  • Collaborate with project management, design, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and smooth project execution.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, DOLE regulations, and company HSE protocols.
  • Prepare technical documentation including installation checklists, commissioning reports, as-built drawings, and maintenance records.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance installation efficiency and instrumentation reliability.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • 4–5 years of engineering experience, preferably in solar PV installation, electrical construction, or renewable energy.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience managing installation teams or field personnel.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV components, wiring methods, instrumentation systems, and monitoring technologies.
  • Familiarity with Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), DOE guidelines, and local permitting processes.
  • Hands-on experience using commissioning tools (multimeters, clamp meters, I-V curve testers, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites nationwide and work in field conditions.

Preferred Skills:

  • PRC Licensed Electrical Engineer or Registered Master Electrician (RME) is a strong advantage.
  • Experience in both industrial and residential solar project environments
  • Knowledge of SCADA, remote monitoring platforms, and protective relays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php24, Php25,000.00 per month
