About the Role:

We are hiring an experienced Insurance Specialist with strong knowledge of the US insurance industry, focusing on personal and/or commercial lines. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Applied Epic (Epic) and understands agency workflows from policy administration to client servicing.

If you have prior experience in training or mentoring, that's a plus—but we also provide training for you to grow into a Trainer/Process Expert role within the organization.

This position is ideal for someone who's detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about process improvement and client service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage insurance operations in Applied Epic, including data entry, renewals, policy issuance, and client updates.
  • Support both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines workflows.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across client and policy records.
  • Communicate with underwriters, agents, and clients for timely issue resolution.
  • Create and maintain process documentation and training materials.
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve workflows and processes.
  • (Optional for Trainer Role) Conduct internal Epic and workflow training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the US insurance industry (personal or commercial lines).
  • Proficient in Applied Epic (required).
  • Familiarity with agency management systems, policy administration, and insurance documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Comfortable with remote tools such as Teams or Slack.
  • Training or coaching experience is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in insurance operations, policy servicing, or account management.
  • Ability to develop training materials or standard procedures.
  • Knowledge of other AMS platforms (HawkSoft, Vertafore, EZLynx, etc.) is a plus.

  • Rate: $6–$7 per hour
