POSITION SUMMARY / JOB PURPOSE:

PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS LOCATED IN THE PHILIPPINES. This position is responsible for keeping MXP up to date including descriptions and photos. This includes receiving data from Smartsheet and manually uploading it to MXP.

This position will also be the backup for maintaining shore excursion inventory offerings in both MXP and Seaware. Sending inventory requests to tour operators as well as adding those departures and inventory to the systems to be able to sell to our guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partners with product management in the development of shore excursions and special events in all regions.

Maintains and ensures completion of inventory set-up and maintenance for all itineraries and destinations taking into consideration passenger demand and company strategy.

Ensures tour programs are properly and consistently presented.

Actions weekly demand for inventory and requests additional space for high demand offerings or closes no-demand offerings in coordination with Manager(s).

Provides support to call centers or agents with questions regarding tour program availability or specifics.

Preparing Shorex inventory report, updates sales report and sending tour counts. Actions reports from ship and shoreside management and process recommendations and changes to optimize tour mix, positioning, demand, and revenue.

Generates inventory reports for tour operator reviews. Help maintain functionality and relevance of reports and problem solving as issues arise with reporting within Smartsheets.

Assists in ad hoc projects to maximize revenue and reduce costs in the shore excursion.

Performs weekly queries and performs quality assurance audits. This could include, but is not limited to, inventory and/or pricing discrepancies, online descriptions, images and video, tour operator restrictions, operating plans.

Actions Port Changed Deployment in Power BI to ensure and maintain accuracy of all Loaded Inventory in MXP and request new allotments required for new port.

Performs audit report in terms of maintaining tour operator worksheets/documents to align with MXP setup (Tour Title, Duration, Min/Max, etc.).

Perform all other administrative and organizational duties as required (record keeping, training, collaboration with shipboard and office teams, and internal/external correspondence, etc.)

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

1-2 years planning or supporting tour program development.

Thorough understanding of email correspondence.

Shipboard experience not required, but desirable.

Good understanding of international destinations and geography in general.

Excellent English communication and writing skills.

Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Word and Excel.

Must be able to work independently and unsupervised as well as a team member.

Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability when responsibilities or assigned projects change.

Follows all company policies and departmental procedures during the daily operations of the job.

Ability to analyze data, make decisions and be accountable for bottom-line performance.

Manage deadlines and deliverables (descriptions/photos) to ensure all elements of the project are delivered on schedule.

Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and via email, and internal chat.

May be required to travel for training or conventions.
