Receiving Associate

Job Summary:

The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers, driving sales, and ensuring an excellent shopping experience. This role involves engaging with customers, providing product knowledge, maintaining store displays, and supporting daily store operations. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for sales.

Key Responsibilities: Customer Service & Sales:

• Greet customers and provide a welcoming shopping experience.
• Assist customers in selecting products based on their needs and preferences.
• Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge to answer inquiries and make recommendations.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

Store Operations & Merchandising:

• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
• Assist with stocking, inventory management, and product replenishment.
• Monitor product availability and report low-stock items to the store manager.
• Set up promotional displays and signage as needed.

Customer Engagement & Retention:

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business.
• Handle customer inquiries, returns, and complaints in a professional manner.
• Collect customer feedback and suggest improvements to enhance the shopping experience.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus
• 1-2 years of experience in retail, sales, or customer service (preferred but not required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and handling cash transactions.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and shifts as required.
