This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing portfolio of personal insurance products, including auto, home, travel, and personal accident lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate risks for consumer insurance applications, ensuring alignment with underwriting guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Analyze client profiles, claims history, and other relevant data to determine appropriate coverage terms, premiums, and conditions.
  • Collaborate with sales, claims, and actuarial teams to develop competitive and profitable underwriting strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks in the consumer insurance space.
  • Support the development and refinement of underwriting policies, tools, and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior underwriters and customer-facing teams.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of underwriting decisions and maintain compliance with internal audit requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in underwriting consumer insurance products.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in underwriting software and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of local insurance regulations and industry standards.
