The Test Analyst (Oracle ERP) is responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of Oracle ERP modules through structured testing processes. This role involves analyzing business requirements, designing comprehensive test cases, executing functional and regression testing, and identifying defects to support successful system enhancements, upgrades, and implementations. The Test Analyst works closely with business users, developers, and project teams to validate that system functionality aligns with business needs and adheres to established standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze functional and technical specifications for Oracle ERP modules to understand system requirements and business processes.
  • Develop detailed test strategies, test plans, test scripts, and test cases for new features, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Oracle ERP applications.
  • Validate data integrity, workflows, configurations, and system outputs across Oracle ERP modules (e.g., Financials, SCM, HCM).
  • Log, track, and document defects using standard tools, ensuring timely resolution with developers and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support go-live activities, including smoke testing and post-implementation validation.
  • Ensure compliance with testing standards, documentation guidelines, and quality assurance best practices.
  • Assist in preparing testing status reports and metrics for project managers and stakeholders.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience in testing Oracle ERP modules (Financials, SCM, HCM, or others).
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, UAT).
  • Hands-on experience creating test cases, scripts, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP workflows, configurations, and data structures.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and Agile project environments.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
