Job Description

As a Credit Officer, you will manage credit control, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. You'll work closely with internal teams and clients to maintain high service standards while supporting process improvement and compliance across finance operations.

Shift: Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 6 AM - 3 PM PHT, Weekends Off

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 3-5 years of experience in cash collections and end-to-end AR.
  • Demonstrated success in credit management.
  • Strong understanding of credit control and credit risk assessment.
  • Intermediate computer skills with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and prepare complex reconciliations.
  • High-level negotiation and communication skills.
  • Must pass a National Police Check.

Your Daily Tasks

  • Perform credit control activities, including reconciling receipts and resolving invoice queries with the payroll team.
  • Review client credit applications.
  • Receive, verify, allocate, and record debtor payments.
  • Prepare account reconciliations.
  • Create, verify, and maintain customer accounts.
  • Monitor and ensure payments received match invoiced amounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Review accounts for outstanding amounts, discrepancies, and irregularities.
  • Conduct credit checking and referencing for new clients.
  • Handle various ad hoc duties, including reporting, responding to customer account inquiries, and maintaining insurance expiration procedures and registers.
