DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Portfolio management

  • Contribute to ensuring portfolio quality are within set standard and/or target

B. Credit Evaluation

  • Evaluate project financing applications, the applicants' financial condition and credit worthiness
  • Conduct due diligence on financing applications through trade checking, credit checking, field visits and other means
  • Appraise offered loan security and/or ensure property appraisal by licensed appraisers
  • Analyze overall credit risk and recommend project financing applications for approval or disapproval

C. Monitoring

  • Provide technical inputs in the regular 3BL monitoring of existing projects
  • Identify "red flags" / early signs of problem loan accounts and recommend measures to address the problems to prevent further deterioration

D. Risk management

  • Identify potential and actual risks to FSSI investments
  • Conduct regular review of operational and compliance risks of assigned accounts
  • Conduct regular review of credit risk classifications of assigned accounts
  • Recommend and implement timely and effective remedial measures

E. Perform other related tasks that maybe assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

Education: College degree preferably with background in Economics, Banking, Finance Business Management and Accounting

Experience: At least three (3) years working experience in related fields;

Experience on evaluation of projects involving social enterprises, SMEs, microfinance, cooperatives, gender and social inclusion, and activities that contribute to attaining the sustainable development goals are preferred.
