Job Description

We're looking for a Server Administrator to join our Branch Server Project team. This role is critical in deploying, maintaining, and securing Windows and/or Linux-based systems across enterprise environments. If you're passionate about systems reliability, performance, and automation—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain physical/virtual servers (Windows/Linux).
  • Monitor server health and ensure optimal performance.
  • Apply updates, patches, and backup/restoration procedures.
  • Manage user accounts and access permissions (AD/LDAP).
  • Optimize server performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Enforce system security and regulatory compliance.
  • Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document fixes.
  • Automate routine tasks with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Maintain documentation, configurations, and system reports.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Windows: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • Linux: RHCSA, RHCE, or CompTIA Linux+
  • ITIL Foundation, Security+ (a plus)
  • 3–5 years in server administration (Windows/Linux).
  • Experience in physical and virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
  • Familiarity with enterprise environments and ITSM tools.
  • OS internals, networking, DNS, DHCP, AD, RAID
  • Backup tools: Veeam, Commvault
  • Monitoring: Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds
  • Scripting: PowerShell, Bash (Python is a plus)
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle on-call responsibilities.
