Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will support clients by managing tax compliance, financial reporting, and client communications. You will work closely with the Australian team, with daily workflow meetings to ensure smooth delivery of accounting services.

Responsibilities:

  • Process ATO correspondence, including incoming mail, and prepare Activity Statements (IAS/BAS).
  • Handle ASIC correspondence and ensure timely compliance.
  • Collate and prepare client packs for signatures.
  • Perform Xero reconciliations and journals with accuracy.
  • Prepare financial statements for companies and trusts.
  • Prepare and lodge income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, sole traders, and partnerships.
  • Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) for companies, trusts, and individuals.
  • Participate in daily workflow meetings to review tasks and priorities.
  • Report directly to the Australian team regarding work progress and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (CPA preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proven experience in Australian tax accounting and compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
  • Willing to work full-time in the office located at Arcovia, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
