Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented External Auditor with solid experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry. This is a project-based role for six (6) months, primarily tasked to review, assess, and improve the company's existing accounting systems and processes. The External Auditor will perform thorough audits of financial transactions, validate compliance with policies and regulations, and recommend corrective measures to align practices with industry standards.

This position plays a critical role in safeguarding the accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of all financial and accounting operations. The candidate who demonstrates strong performance may be considered for contract extension or potential absorption into a full-time role, depending on performance results and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of the existing accounting system, tools, and processes currently in use.
  • Review, verify, and reconcile all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies, F&B industry standards, and government regulations.
  • Identify inconsistencies, gaps, and risks in accounting practices and propose corrective actions.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement improved accounting workflows, controls, and documentation processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Managing Consultant in monitoring financial health, cash flow management, and overall compliance.
  • Prepare clear, detailed, and timely audit reports for management review.
  • Provide guidance and training to accounting staff on updated procedures, policies, and best practices.
  • Support management in preparing for possible external or regulatory audits.
  • Serve as advisor to the Managing Consultant in all finance-related matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license is a plus but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in audit or finance, with at least 2 years in the Food & Beverage industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), taxation, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in systems audit, internal controls, and process reengineering.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • High level of integrity, objectivity, and independence in judgment.

Employment Terms

  • Project duration: 6 months (with potential extension or absorption to a full-time role based on performance and organizational needs).
  • Work setup: Office-based in Cubao, Quezon City, with occasional fieldwork as necessary.
  • Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
