About the Role

You will design, implement, and support advanced LAN/WAN architectures built for high availability. This role covers network performance troubleshooting, security hardening, incident response, and guiding junior engineers. You'll also contribute to documentation, change control, and ongoing network enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy network architectures for high-traffic and complex environments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot performance using tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios.
  • Implement and enforce network security policies aligned with industry standards.
  • Lead incident response for outages and coordinate resolution across teams.
  • Document configurations, changes, and procedures for operational excellence.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support a culture of technical learning.
  • Track emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to the network.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years in network engineering/operations (enterprise environments).
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, MPLS.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPN, and IDS.
  • Familiarity with Python or Ansible for network automation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues end-to-end.

Good-to-Have

  • Certifications: CCNP, CCDP, or equivalent.
  • Cloud networking exposure (AWS VPC, Azure Networking).
  • SDN environment experience (e.g., ACI, NSX).
  • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista hardware.
  • Knowledge of SNMP, NetFlow, and monitoring platforms.
