Location: Newport, Pasay City
Job Summary
The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required by the company. This role ensures that all procurement activities are cost-effective, timely, and comply with company policies and standards while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, merchandisers, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational goals.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, merchandisers, and contractors to ensure the best value for goods and services.
- Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to forecast demand.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant laws/regulations in all procurement activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, merchandisers, and contractors to secure reliable sources of materials and services.
- Review and analyze market trends to identify potential opportunities and risks.
- Coordinate with contractors for timely project delivery and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with finance and other departments to ensure budget alignment and timely payments.
- Handle and resolve any issues regarding delivery, quality, or supplier/contractor performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software/tools.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in the iGaming or Casino industry is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in vendor management, merchandiser coordination, and contractor negotiations.
- Analytical skills with the ability to forecast and manage risks.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
