Role Summary: The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating suppliers for MG Autoparts Inc., ensuring the procurement of quality automotive parts at competitive prices, placing necessary orders, and ensuring all purchasing activities comply with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify potential suppliers of automotive parts, both local and international.
• Evaluate supplier reliability, product quality, pricing, and terms.
• Conduct market research to stay informed on part availability, pricing trends, and new suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
• Place purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner based on procurement needs.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
• Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to company procurement policies and ethical standards.
• Maintain organized records of all purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
• Coordinate with the Inventory Specialist and other departments to understand purchasing requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or strategic sourcing, preferably in the automotive industry or a sector dealing with technical parts. Experience with supplier negotiation and contract management is required.

• Ability to identify and assess potential suppliers.
• Knowledge of purchasing best practices and ethical sourcing.
• Attention to detail for order accuracy and contract review.
• Proficiency in using procurement software or ERP systems.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Other: Existing knowledge of automotive parts and major automotive parts suppliers is a significant advantage.
