Accounting Manager for Accounts Payable

The Accounting Manager of Finance Shared Services will manage the daily accounting operation within the business by monitoring the accuracy and timely submission of the accounting and financial statements, enforcing proper implementation of accounting methods, policies, and procedures in safeguarding the company's assets and internal control, checking all branch/company transaction, supervising and reviewing reports prepared such as financial statements and external reports required by the government agencies and other concerned parties and providing quality service to the entire organization within the limits provided by corporate guidelines, local ordinances, and the labor laws and code of the country.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages first-line processors/validators that are responsible in the day-to-day operations.
  • Provides leadership and management to team.
  • Performs consistent and effective coaching sessions to address performance gaps.
  • Delivery of reports to management, to include audit requirements both for internal and external auditors within the agreed timeframe and format.
  • Identify potential areas for improvement, develops and enforces appropriate policies, procedures and internal controls.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate processing of specific accounting transactions according to standard process.
  • Identify noted and potential issues on assigned account, support process improvements and ensure follow through on issues.
  • Comply with accounting standards, policies and procedures.
  • Effectively coordinate with internal/external customers according to structured process.
  • Respond timely to prompt requests from Business/Customers.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience in SAP or other ERPs/specialty solutions.
  • Experience in managing new teams focused on providing shared services capability.
  • Adept in the use of MS Office Applications (especially MS Excel).
  • Ability to develop team members and champion strong positive team spirit.
  • Proficient in performance of account reconciliations.
  • Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions.
  • Ability to operate successfully in a lean organization.
  • Ability to provide high standards of customer care.
  • Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changes.
