About the role

CMA AGRI-DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION is seeking an experienced Finance and Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Lipa City, Batangas. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting functions. The Finance and Accounting Supervisor is responsible for managing all financial and accounting aspects of the Company, to ensure accurate record-keeping, financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and the provision of accounting and financial insights to support decision-making.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the finance and accounting team
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, payroll and other financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Oversee the company's general ledger and reconciliations
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance or accounting supervisory role, preferably in the agribusiness or poultry industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably with a professional accounting certification or CPA
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights and recommendations
  • Proficiency in using financial software (SAP or Quickbooks) and spreadsheet applications (MS Excel and Google Sheets)
  • Experience with any ERP system is acceptable, not limited to SAP. Quickbooks preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team of finance and accounting professionals
