About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Tax Associate to join our dynamic team at OCIC Consulting Int'l. Inc.' in Makati City Metro Manila. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in providing tax advisory and compliance services to our diverse client base across various industries.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting in the preparation of income tax returns, value-added tax returns, and other tax filings for clients
  2. Conducting tax research and analysis to identify tax planning opportunities and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
  3. Collaborating with the tax team in the review and analysis of clients' financial statements and tax records
  4. Providing support in the preparation of tax audit responses and tax dispute resolution
  5. Participating in client meetings and presentations to communicate tax-related findings and recommendations
  6. Staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. Familiarity with tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in the Philippines
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply tax laws
  4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and reliable work
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients
  6. Proficient in the use of tax software and Microsoft Office applications
  7. 1-3 years of relevant experience in a tax or accounting-related role (preferred)
