Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead multiple client accounts or contribute to large-scale tax projects, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide tailored tax and accounting guidance to a wide range of entities, including privately owned companies, family groups, trusts, partnerships, subsidiaries of global businesses, and smaller listed organizations.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of tax filings and reports, ensuring compliance with local regulations while identifying areas for potential efficiency and strategic advantage.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to support tax planning initiatives and provide insights on evolving tax legislation and its implications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular interaction, including participation in meetings and presentations with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Play an integral role throughout the client engagement lifecycle, from planning through delivery and ongoing advisory.
  • Help foster a collaborative team environment by providing guidance and informal mentorship to junior team members, supporting their development and technical growth.
  • Expand your technical skillset by working across a variety of services, including compliance, tax advisory, and business consulting for mid-market clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA Philippines) required; CA ANZ or CTA certification (or progress toward equivalent international qualifications) is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications in taxation or business are highly regarded.
  • Minimum of 4–6 years' experience in a tax advisory, consulting, or compliance role, ideally focused on Australian clients or tax matters.
  • Solid understanding of Australian tax legislation and accounting standards, with demonstrated experience in both compliance and advisory work.
  • Proven ability to interpret and communicate complex tax concepts clearly in both written and verbal formats.
