The Local Store Marketing (LSM) Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive traffic, increase brand awareness, and boost sales at the store or regional level. This role focuses on hyper-local outreach, community engagement, and partnerships that strengthen the store's presence within its immediate trade area.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Local Marketing Strategy

Develop and implement localized marketing plans tailored to the store's demographics, customer behaviors, and competitive landscape.

Identify high-potential customer segments and create targeted outreach programs.

Adapt national or corporate campaigns to fit local needs and opportunities.

  1. Community Outreach & Partnerships

Build and maintain partnerships with schools, nonprofits, local businesses, and community organizations.

Coordinate sponsorships, charity events, and local initiatives that enhance brand perception.

Represent the store at community events, fairs, and networking activities.

  1. In-Store Promotions & Events

Plan and execute in-store events, product demonstrations, customer appreciation days, and holiday promotions.

Ensure effective event logistics, staffing, and promotion to maximize attendance and impact.

Collaborate with store teams to create memorable experiences that drive repeat visits.

  1. Digital & Social Media Marketing

Manage the store's local social media presence, including content creation and community engagement.

Utilize geo-targeted advertising, local SEO tactics, and online listings to increase visibility.

Monitor online reviews and feedback; respond professionally to maintain a positive reputation.

  1. Customer Insights & Competitive Analysis

Conduct local market research to understand customer preferences, emerging trends, and competitor activity.

Analyze sales data, traffic patterns, and campaign results to refine marketing strategies.

Prepare reports summarizing performance, ROI, and recommendations for leadership.

  1. Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with store leadership, corporate marketing teams, and operations to align marketing initiatives.

Train store staff on brand standards, local marketing activities, and customer engagement best practices.

Ensure all local campaigns comply with brand guidelines and corporate policies.
