Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused QA/Project Manager (QA/PM) to join our growing team at AvenseTech. The ideal candidate will oversee software quality assurance processes, manage project timelines, and ensure clear communication between clients and the development team.

This role requires someone who can perform both manual and automated testing, manage tasks and sprints using Jira, and effectively handle client communications to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.


Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main point of contact between clients and the internal development team.
  • Translate client requirements into clear project tasks and timelines.
  • Create, manage, and monitor project boards and tickets in Jira.
  • Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure product quality and performance.
  • Prepare detailed test cases, test plans, and QA documentation.
  • Track bugs, verify fixes, and coordinate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Participate in project planning meetings and provide QA insights during development.
  • Report project progress, risks, and blockers to stakeholders and management.
  • Maintain organized and transparent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in QA or Project Management (or a combined role).
  • Strong knowledge of manual and automation testing processes and tools.
  • Experience using Jira or similar project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with QA automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Cypress, or similar).
  • Basic understanding of APIs, backend testing, or software development lifecycle.
  • Experience writing or reviewing project documentation and test reports.
