About Us:

We are looking for a Platform Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes, strong skills in Go, and proven DevOps experience to help design, build, and operate the infrastructure that powers our platform. This role focuses on building and automating Kubernetes-based orchestration, developing custom controllers and operators, and enabling engineering teams to deploy and scale services with confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters and custom orchestration solutions. ● Develop Kubernetes operators/controllers in Go to automate platform functionality.
  • Design, configure, and optimize service mesh solutions (Istio) for reliable service-to-service communication.
  • Implement security controls, including authorization, OPA policy enforcement, and Envoy-based filtering.
  • Build and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) workflows using tools such as Terraform.
  • Drive CI/CD pipeline design, automation, and maintenance to improve reliability and deployment speed.
  • Manage monitoring, logging, and incident response processes to ensure high system availability.
  • Collaborate with product and platform teams to ensure scalability, security, and observability.
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools to improve platform automation, developer experience, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including designing, managing, and extending clusters at scale.
  • Proficiency in Go, particularly for Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Experience with service meshes (Istio) and networking in distributed systems.
  • Strong background in security practices, including AuthZ, OPA policy enforcement, and Envoy-based filtering.
  • Familiarity with modern Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud-native architecture (GCP/AWS/Azure).
  • Hands-on DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, release engineering, and GitOps workflows.
  • Experience managing observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and implementing incident response practices (on-call, runbooks, postmortems).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work cross-functionally.
