About You Tribute Technology is looking for a collaborative and motivated Cloud Engineer . We seek a skilled professional to design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments to support our applications and services. The Cloud Engineer will drive cloud strategy and ensure efficient and secure operation of cloud-based systems. Key Responsibilities Cloud Skills: extensive experience with cloud architectures, particularly AWS; proficient in administering AWS services such as ECS, CloudFront, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch, IAM, and more. Continuous Deployment (CD): develop and maintain automated pipelines, integrating tools to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery. Containers: manage and support Docker and Kubernetes to enhance scalability and flexibility. Observability: implement Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions (e.g., New Relic) and use CloudWatch, CloudWatch Events/Alarms, syslogs, and other cloud analytics tools. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): automate tasks using IaC with tools like Terraform to streamline deployment of containers and EC2 instances. Release Management: support developers with release issues, build automated release frameworks, and integrate test automation into CI/CD processes. Security: apply AWS security best practices to protect infrastructure. IT Operations: strong troubleshooting, server resource management, and database knowledge (SQL and NoSQL); experience with Linux and Windows servers. Automation: scripting and automation using AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, and SNS for event-driven patterns. What You’ll Need Hard skills Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines. Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and container management tools. Strong knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, security, and compliance. Proficiency with observability tools and APM solutions (e.g., New Relic). Experience with IaC and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Packer). IT operations skills including troubleshooting, server management, database management, and network troubleshooting (DNS, SSL, domains). System administration skills: Apache/Nginx configuration, OS updates, and patching. Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Node.js). Ability to write clear documentation (e.g., Confluence). Soft skills Excellent communication skills. Curious and eager to learn; proactive and collaborative. Ability to work well in a remote environment and drive for results. Willing to work within established boundaries and address customer issues collaboratively. Committed to seeing projects through to completion. Qualifications 5-10 years of experience in cloud computing and IT infrastructure; ability to design and manage complex cloud environments. Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus. Technical proficiency in DNS and security certificates; knowledge of securing websites and services.
