General Overview of the Job:

The Intercompany Process Lead will oversee the end-to-end intercompany process across multiple entities and regions. This role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlements. The Process Lead will report directly to Finance Team Lead for Record-to-Report and will handle the intercompany team. He/She will be responsible for driving standardization, continuous improvement, and alignment with global intercompany policies.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the global intercompany (IC) process to ensure timely billing, recording, reconciliation, and settlement of IC transactions.

  • Act as the main point of contact for IC-related queries between entities and coordinate with Group IC/Finance teams

  • Ensure IC transactions are compliant with global IC policies, transfer pricing regulations, and local statutory requirements.

  • Lead the month-end and year-end IC close process, including validation of balances, reconciliations, and journal entries.

  • Prepare and review IC reports, dashboards, and metrics for management and auditors reporting.

  • Coordinate with IT and ERP teams to ensure accurate system configuration and automation for IC flows.

  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in the IC process and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Train and mentor IC accountants and junior staff.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations related to IC transactions.

Minimum Qualification and Requirements:

  • General Ledger Management: Understanding of general ledger operations and reconciliations.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Awareness of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS16)

  • Excel: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis

  • Experience in a shared services environment

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, Financial System & Accounting Software: (AS400, D365, Great Plains)

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
