JOB OVERVIEW:

  • The Cost Control Specialist acts as the primary business partner of the Technical Operations Division and is in charge of monitoring, analyzing and controlling land development and construction costs within the Organization.
  • The role is responsible for developing and implementing cost control measures to ensure that the Company's construction cost expenditures remain within its budgetary constraints while maximizing profitability.
  • This role involves analyzing financial data, managing future costs, and identifying areas for cost-saving opportunities.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a comprehensive understanding of financial principles.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Qualifications

  • Must be a person with unquestionable integrity
  • Must have at least 2-3 years of related cost control experience

Knowledge

  • Accounting Operations for Project Development Costs
  • MS Office Applications particularly Excel
  • Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (i.e., SAP)

Skills

  • Results oriented, adaptable and quick to learn
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Keen to details
