About the Company

Our client is the shared services arm of a leading multinational healthcare organization. Operating out of their BGC site, the Philippine office supports global operations by delivering critical back-office, clinical, and support services across the organization's healthcare ecosystem.

With projected growth in clinical operations, they are expanding their leadership team and are currently looking for a Director of Clinical Operations to lead and scale their clinical programs in the Philippines.

The Role

As Director of Clinical Operations, you will oversee four key clinical operations teams supporting the company's global initiatives, with a total team size of approximately 300 FTEs. You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence and driving strategic growth across the clinical operations function.

This role is pivotal to shaping the future of the clinical service delivery model in the Philippines, with direct coordination across U.S.-based stakeholders. Candidates must bring deep experience in clinical operations, ideally with a background in revenue cycle management (RCM), and demonstrate success in leading large-scale teams within a shared services or multinational setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage four existing clinical operations teams, ensuring delivery against KPIs and SLAs.

  • Provide strategic oversight and execution for clinical support functions including clinical trial processes, post-market surveillance, and other health operations.

  • Collaborate with U.S.-based stakeholders and global business units to align clinical operations with enterprise goals.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies that support scalability and high performance.

  • Strengthen internal governance, regulatory compliance, and process excellence.

  • Champion people leadership through engagement, mentorship, and organizational development initiatives.

  • Spearhead innovation and continuous improvement efforts using digital health platforms and CTMS/EDC technologies.

  • Support and potentially expand RCM operations to optimize clinical support performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a clinical or healthcare-related field (e.g., Nursing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences); advanced degrees are a plus.

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive clinical operations experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.

  • Prior experience managing large teams within a shared services or multinational healthcare environment in the Philippines is required.

  • Strong background in clinical trial support, regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, ICH-GCP, EMA), and healthcare standards.

  • Familiarity with CTMS, EDC platforms, and other digital health systems.

  • Prior experience in revenue cycle management (RCM) is a strong advantage.

  • Proven ability to influence in a matrixed, global organization.

  • High energy, hands-on leader with a flexible, adaptable mindset and "make-it-happen" attitude.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Other Details

  • Work Setup: Hybrid (onsite in BGC, Taguig with remote flexibility)

  • Schedule: Primarily night shift, with occasional flexibility for global meetings

  • Interviews: Multi-stage process (minimum 4 interviews)

  • Compensation: Attractive guaranteed package + Annual Performance Bonus (STI)
